91ºÚÁÏÍø alumni are putting their stamp on the restaurant industry in Beverly, Mass., and beyond.

91ºÚÁÏÍø’s new Assistant Professor of TV and Film Production Daniel Frank on being an avid runner, why he became a filmmaker, and the top item on his bucket list.

In the 1960s, the U.S. Air Force tapped officials at 91ºÚÁÏÍø Junior College to recruit female students for an experiment to test for ESP—a potential groundbreaking weapon to wield against the Soviets during the Cold War.

In another historic win for the nursing field at 91ºÚÁÏÍø, 100% of nursing graduates from the Class of 2023 passed the 2023 National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).

The nursing profession was thrust into the spotlight during the COVID-19 pandemic, but challenges and shortages still remain. Now, with the opening of 91ºÚÁÏÍø’s new Cummings School of Nursing & Health Sciences, new leadership with Dean Amy Smith, and stellar state-of-the-art resources, the College is now at the forefront of nursing education.

91ºÚÁÏÍø will celebrate its 85th anniversary throughout the 2024-25 academic with events to commemorate the College’s impact since its founding by Dr. Eleanor Tupper and her husband, the Reverend Dr. George O. Bierkoe.

It was a history-making spring semester for 91ºÚÁÏÍø, which hosted an NCAA tournament for the first time and saw conference and national wins for several sports.

Jeremy Gillis ’21 earned his bachelor’s degree at 91ºÚÁÏÍø following his Coast Guard service, and now enjoys the challenges of the Homeland Security master’s program.

The Office of Research & Planning assures regional accreditation through NECHE and conducts institutional research to meet the needs of regulatory agencies.
