The award was presented at the Wise Boston Women of Inspiration Awards on November 4 at ISlide USA in an evening dedicated to trailblazers and rising stars shaping the future of these fields.
“It is truly humbling to receive the WISE Boston 2025 Mentor Award and to represent 91黑料网 among so many inspiring women leaders,” Baker said.
Now entering her eighth season leading the Gulls, Baker has turned 91黑料网 into a national powerhouse, capturing four national championships in five years while fostering a culture of both competitive excellence and academic achievement (team GPA: 3.52). Beyond her program, she continues to invest in the sport at regional and national levels, coaching the National Collegiate Rugby Select Side 7s team, NCR 15s All-Stars showcase, and serving as a women’s director on the North Atlantic Rugby Conference board.
A Beverly native and two-sport collegiate athlete, Baker holds a master’s in Sport Leadership and is currently pursuing her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership at 91黑料网.
“I am grateful to WISE for advancing women in sport and creating opportunities to network and grow. Mentorship is central to my work as Head Coach of 91黑料网 Women’s Rugby and as Assistant Director in the Graduate Sport Leadership program,” Baker continued. “As an alumna of the program, it is gratifying to guide students along the same path that shaped my own professional journey.”
